广州市番禺区诺德安达学校7年级茶花班的董浩然同学于10月17日至10月18日在宁波带领广州的梦想号队参加了2020年皮艇球全国俱乐部青少年锦标赛。作为队长，董浩然同学带领广州的梦想号队通过顽强的拼搏，在多支强队中脱颖而出，喜获季军的好成绩。在比赛结束后，所有的裁判、教练和队友，都给予了董浩然极高的评价。

我们欣喜的看到广州诺校的学子在自己喜欢的领域取得优秀的成绩，用自己的努力与坚持为自己的成长篇章画下灿烂的色彩。让我们祝贺董浩然同学，同时和他一起分享这段参赛的心路历程。

David from G7 Camellia Class led the “Guangzhou Dream Team” to participate in the 2020 National Club Junior Championship of Kayak Ball in Ningbo during October 17 – 18. As the team leader, David led the Guangzhou Dream Team and won the third place with indomitable fighting spirit. After the competition, all the referees, coaches and teammates spoke highly of David.

We are delighted to see our student has achieved excellent results in their favorite fields and painted brilliant colors for their growth chapters with their own efforts and persistence. Let’s congratulate David and share with him the journey of participating in the competition.

Q: 为什么喜欢皮艇球这项运动?

董浩然: 说起球类运动，不得不说我最喜欢的皮艇球运动。妈妈最初让我学习这项运动时，我是非常抗拒的，但在练习中我逐渐体会到这项运动的乐趣，皮艇球不像其他球类运动，它的难度不像篮球一样复杂，也不像跑步那样简单，对于我来说，恰到好处。

Q: Why do you like Kayak Ball?

David: Speaking of ball sports, I have to say that Kayak Ball is my favorite. When my mother first asked me to learn this sport, I was very resistant. However, after practice I gradually realized the fun of this sport. Unlike other sports, the difficulty of Kayak Ball is not as complicated as basketball or as simple as running. For me, it is just right.

Q: 遇到过困难吗?有什么收获?

董浩然: 凡事都会遇到困难，运动也不例外。比赛过程中的失分，会让我有不想打下去的想法，比赛的失利会让我有放弃的冲动，然而当我坚持下来后，那种体验不单单是“坚持就是胜利”，在皮艇球运动过程中我学会了如何与队友更好地配合。

Q: Did you meet any difficulty? What do you benefit from it?

David: There are difficulties in everything, and sports are no exception. Losing points during the game and the loss of the game will make me have the idea of giving up. However, when I persevere, the experience is not just "persistence is victory". In Kayak Ball I learned how to cooperate better with my teammates during the game.

Q: 未来在皮艇球这个项目上有什么目标?

董浩然: 在宁波的两次比赛中拿到名次后，我有了更高的追求与目标，我想去挑战全国皮艇球公开赛，那里有来自中国大陆、中国香港、中国台湾的选手。运动之于身体，恰如读书之于精神，我在运动竞技比赛中感受到积极进取的快感，希望自己能继续持之以恒，在更具有挑战性的比赛中取得佳绩。

Q:What’s your goal in kayak ball?

David: After winning the rankings in the two competitions in Ningbo, I have a higher pursuit and goal. I want to challenge the National Kayak Ball Open. There are players from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Exercise is to the physical health, just as reading is to the spirit. I got the thrill of enterprising in sports competitions. I hope I can continue to persevere and achieve good results in more challenging competitions.
